      <description>&lt;p&gt;The delegation gives you the option of changing the underlying implementation without effecting clients of the current object.  Without the delegation, your options are more limited.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;In our current project there was some disagreement about using delegation on one of the models.  In the end, the delegation greatly helped turn a nearly impossible refactoring into a merely painful but certainly doable refactoring.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;Although I&amp;#8217;m not a proponent of blindly following demeter, I think it using it correctly can be a big help in keeping the design flexible.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
