Programming is Hard

I saw mentioned on Lambda the Ultimate a paper by Dave Thomas (not the Wendy’s guy I’m guessing. Eric Meijer had high praise for Dave and this paper. I read it in just a few minutes and also enjoyed it. The crux of the matter is that programming is hard, getting harder, and doesn’t need to be. I’m reminded of a Joel on Software article on the same subject. Basically, I agree. Complexity is the word of the day.
